1. “Ask Ko Lang, Sir/Ma’am” is an online business counselling and mentoring service of the NRCO-DOLE. Volunteer business experts and mentors (God bless them!) get to answer questions online from OFWs in real time or on delayed mode through a social networking app. The NRCO oversees every edition of the service to extract relevant and applicable business management and investment principles from these conversations for the purpose of developing further information materials.
2. OFWs intending to participate should send a friend request to Ask Ko Lang NRCO Facebook account. Mentors likewise have to be a friend of Ask Ko Lang NRCO and join his or her own group.
3. The OFW shall then look for the Group on the left side where the name of the business expert they are interested in, their lines of expertise and their availability, are posted, and join the Group.
4. The OFW wanting to have a better appreciation of the mentor’s profile may email a request to ask.nrco@gmail.com .
5. As a member of the Group, he may view the conversation or counselling, or make a comment, or ask questions. He may move from one group to another provided he is a member of each group he goes into.
6. If the mentor is not online, he may leave the questions for the mentor to answer later.
7. The mentor controls the proceedings within the group. He also has the authority to exclude a member who disrupts the proceedings unreasonably, is deemed to be a spammer or is representing an unsolicited commercial interest.
8. The mentor is free to upload a file or a presentation for better appreciation of OFWs.
9. If the mentor and OFW feel like they want to continue their conversation one-on-one, they may do so by whatever means.
10. The conversations are public, and will be overwatched by the NRCO administration for spammers and commercial opportunists.
