Supreme Court issues TRO against release of pork barrel
The Supreme Court has issued a temporary restraining order against further release of this year's Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF), as well as the President's Malampaya funds on Tuesday, September 10th.
The Senate, House of Representatives and the office of the President are given ten days to give their comments on this TRO. Oral arguments are scheduled to begin on October 8th.
Meanwhile, OFWs are joining forces as they hold a "Zero Remittance" movement on September 19th as a protest against the misuse of pork barrel.
